This is custom website design and development work for Croatia Yachting Charter’s new website. Croatia Yachting has been one of the leading yacht charter operators in Croatia since 2004. Over the years, the company has delivered more than 165,000 yacht vacations across the Adriatic. Today, they offer a wide range of motor yachts, sailing boats, and catamarans.

Brand Problems

  • Outdated, unmaintainable legacy codebase
  • Fragmented brand experience across channels
  • Complex navigation hindering user experience
  • Perceived as cheap holiday provider
  • Unable to scale per business needs

Our Solutions

  • Complete rebuild with modern architecture
  • Unified design system across all media
  • Clear, intuitive user paths
  • Repositioned as premium opportunity
  • Enabling independent maintenance

Croatia Yachting’s previous website had become outdated and difficult to maintain. Legacy code and complex architecture no longer supported the company’s growing business needs. As competition in the Croatia’s yacht charter market increased, the platform needed a complete rebuild. Therefore, the new website had to support several core functions, including yacht charter booking, user accounts, yacht sales, sailing itineraries, travel guides, and destination insights.

Building the Charter Website

To begin the project, we worked closely with the Croatia Yachting team throughout the design process. This collaborative approach ensured the final product aligned with both their business goals and premium brand identity. As a result, we designed 208 layouts across 42 pages.

The new visual direction focused on clean layouts, spacious imagery, and dynamic content. Consequently, the website now communicates a more refined and premium experience without overwhelming users. In addition, the design highlights Croatia’s sailing destinations and routes, helping customers discover the best locations along the Adriatic coast.

We also extended the visual identity across customer accounts, newsletters, and email signatures. This created a more consistent brand experience across every customer touchpoint.

Next, we developed 42 fully responsive static pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. After development, we transferred the project to the client’s IT agency together with detailed implementation instructions for our Helix framework. Because of this setup, the Croatia Yachting team can now maintain and expand the platform more efficiently.

Ultimately, the redesigned website transformed Croatia Yachting’s digital presence into a modern and scalable charter platform. At the same time, it strengthened their position as a premium yachting brand in Croatia.

The New Charter Website

The new website delivered measurable improvements across several areas. First, we removed the outdated legacy code that previously slowed updates and limited scalability. Second, we created a unified digital experience across both web and email channels, which strengthened the company’s premium positioning.

In addition, we simplified navigation and established clearer user journeys between complex services such as yacht booking, yacht sales, and travel content. The redesign also shifted brand perception from a budget holiday provider to a premium yacht charter company. Finally, the new technical foundation improved SEO opportunities and created a scalable system for future growth.

A great website doesn’t just look good — it loads fast, ranks well, and stays out of your way. When all of that comes together, you stop worrying about your tech and start focusing on what actually grows your business. This project demonstrates that even a heavily compromised site can be turned into a performing platform with the right strategy and execution.
