This is custom website design and development work for Prima Sailing. Prima Sailing is a Slovenian charter agency founded in 2013 under parent company Vemsa d.o.o. Their passion for the sea goes back to 1997. Operating from Slovenska Bistrica, they offer an extensive fleet of sailboats, yachts, and catamarans across the Adriatic and beyond.

Brand Problems

  • Poor site performance
  • Low trust signals
  • Inconsistent visual identity
  • Weak booking journey
  • Generic digital presence

Our Solutions

  • Performance overhaul
  • Trust-driven design
  • Cohesive brand system
  • Streamlined booking flow
  • Water-inspired motion identity

Prima Sailing charter approached their IT agency with a clear need — a fully custom website to replace their old one. Specifically, it had to reflect the quality and professionalism of their charter offering. Because of the scope and complexity of the project, they brought us in as the specialist UX/UI design and development partner.

Building the Website

From the start, our approach centered on three priorities: clarity, brand cohesion, and intuitive user flow. Above all, we wanted to create a direct, frictionless path from landing to boat discovery to booking. At the same time, we worked to craft a visual identity strong enough to distinguish Prima Sailing in a crowded market. As a result, enhanced boat listing and detail pages became key functional priorities alongside the broader redesign.

To bring the interface to life, we developed a motion design language rooted in the behavior of water. Specifically, we applied fluid, natural animations to interactive elements so every interaction feels satisfying and on-brand. In addition, we designed popups and modals outside of convention to create memorable moments that strengthen brand recall.

After a thorough client review of all 23 designed pages, we moved into development. In total, we delivered 21 static pages built in HTML, CSS, and JS. Finally, we handed the files over to their IT agency, together with structured guidance on maintaining and updating the site using our proprietary Helix framework.

The New Website Impact

Overall, the result is a professional and visually distinctive website. Not only did it resolve all legacy performance and trust issues, but it also provided a seamless path to bookings. As a result, Prima Sailing now has a digital presence as compelling as the destinations they offer.

A great website doesn’t just look good — it loads fast, ranks well, and stays out of your way. When all of that comes together, you stop worrying about your tech and start focusing on what actually grows your business. This project demonstrates that even a heavily compromised site can be turned into a performing platform with the right strategy and execution.
