This is custom website design and development work for Orvas d.o.o., a member of Orbico Group. Orvas is a Croatia-based luxury charter company founded in 1999, offering a diverse fleet of sailing boats, motorboats, and catamarans for exploring the Adriatic and Mediterranean.

Brand Problems

  • No clear separation between services
  • Unused domain for crewed charters
  • Desire for something different and unique

Our Solutions

  • New site design for crewed yacht charters
  • Slick and non-obtrusive design
  • Luxury, unique, and simple website experience

Orvas expanded. Their brand needed a clearer structure. So they split into two services — bareboat and crewed charters. Each got its own new website. The existing site served bareboat clients. Meanwhile, the new site focused on luxury crewed charter. The target audience was 50+. Therefore, the new site needed to feel trustworthy, simple, and unique.

Building the Website

We had previously redesigned Orvas’s main website. So they brought us back. This time we joined a bigger team. Specifically, we worked with SEO specialists, marketing experts, and management. We studied the brief carefully. Then we returned with three design concepts. Each one built around dark navy and gold — the Orvas Crewed Yachts identity.

This time we had more creative freedom. And we used it. The SEO team wanted two separate sections for destinations. Instead, we proposed one section that handled both. It was simpler and cleaner. The Orvas team hadn’t seen it done that way. As a result, they were hesitant at first. We asked them to sit with it for a few days. After testing, they came around. In fact, the solution created shapes that set the site apart. It looked bold. But it worked intuitively in practice.

With the design approved, we moved into production. Consequently, we built 27 static pages in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Each page went through review and sign-off. Then we handed everything to their IT agency for CMS integration.

The New Website Impact

The result is a clean luxury digital presence. Navigation is intuitive. The visual identity is refined. Furthermore, the code is clean and fast. In short, the site reflects the true quality of Orvas’s services.

A great website doesn’t just look good — it loads fast, ranks well, and stays out of your way. When all of that comes together, you stop worrying about your tech and start focusing on what actually grows your business. This project demonstrates that even a heavily compromised site can be turned into a performing platform with the right strategy and execution.
