BeBlue is an Italian tour operator and yacht broker, based in Mirano, near Venice.
They specialize in sailing holidays worldwide, and every boat, skipper, and route gets personally vetted before it reaches a client. BeBlue wanted a new site, and more customers to go with it. The old one made both goals harder than they needed to be.

Finding What the Old Site Was Missing
The site crashed often and the design itself didn’t show what BeBlue actually is – a young, energetic team, not a stiff corporate operator. Two constraints shaped everything from there. All existing content had to stay in place for SEO. And the new site had to work for two very different audiences at once: older clients who wanted something familiar, and younger ones who wanted something that felt current.
The core problem was simple to name and harder to fix: BeBlue’s team spirit wasn’t showing up online. We built toward a look that felt bold without losing clarity – energetic, but still easy to navigate for a 60-year-old booking their first sailing trip. That meant 76 layouts across 40 pages, each one coded in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The work didn’t stop at the main site. We rebuilt the admin dashboard, updated the user portal, and reworked the checkout flow, digital brochures, and email templates to match.
The booking path got shorter along the way – fewer steps between browsing and confirming a trip. SEO structure stayed intact throughout, and the same visual language carries across every page. Before handing the project off, we walked BeBlue’s IT team through our Helix framework, so they can manage the site on their own going forward.
