Since 2021, we’ve brought over 100 custom web and design projects to life. We aren’t a sprawling agency but a dedicated creative studio focused purely on craftsmanship, precision, and results that matter.
The Mind Behind the Creative Studio
Studio Simple was founded by Zeljko Simic after more than a decade in design and IT – from print and desktop publishing to 3D animation. As a freelancer he was among the top 10% of designers on a global platform of 30,000+ creatives. Along the way, he studied Business Informatics and became a full-stack designer, so he was never dependent on someone else’s coding skills to bring a quality website to life.
He worked in design agencies and print-shops, and in-house as a designer, developer, and product photographer for specialized retail brands in luxury leather goods and performance sportswear, and consulted on marketing for those same niches. He also taught design at business schools and universities, and wrote a 3D design curriculum officially approved by Croatia’s Ministry of Education.
After launching his own studio, Simple, he shifted his focus to yacht charter brands – working to elevate the industry’s image and reach through thoughtful, ethical brand identities and websites that feel both elegant and high-performing. Search for yacht charters on the Adriatic coast, and it’s very likely the websites you find were made by studio Simple, either in collaboration with agencies or independently.
He has worked with some of the industry’s most recognizable names, including Pitter Yachtcharter, Navigare Yachting, and Orvas (a member of the Orbico Group).
Design Exists for People, Not Machines
In 2020, we watched “dark pattern” design and broken interfaces – interfaces built to manipulate, not help – take over the industry. In 2021, Studio Simple was registered to do the opposite; to design for people and algorithms.
That core design philosophy also shaped Helix and HB-UI, our web frameworks, and now Simple Frame – built to handle the content-heavy sites brands need today without burying website visitors in walls of text. We work based on your needs and expectations.
