Next Charter approached us with a clear mandate: replace an ageing website that had become a liability. The existing platform was visually outdated, technically unstable, and suffered from broken sections that undermined user confidence — a serious problem for a premium service where trust is essential from the very first touchpoint.
Approach
Our audit confirmed that the site lacked both the visual polish and the functional clarity expected by high-intent customers looking to book a yacht charter. Navigation was unclear, the booking path was convoluted, and the overall aesthetic failed to reflect the quality of the service behind it. We approached the project as a ground-up rebuild, starting from Next Charter’s brand identity and working outward to every page and interaction. The goal was a website that felt effortless — where a prospective client could arrive, understand the offering quickly, and move confidently toward booking.
Beyond the marketing site, Next Charter required a secure user account area where customers could track bookings, receive updates, communicate directly with agents via an integrated chat system, and manage group or bareboat booking details including additional passengers and skipper information. This area was designed with the same brand consistency and structural clarity as the main site. In total, we designed and built 39 static pages in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which were then handed off to Next Charter’s IT agency for integration into their custom CMS.
The Result
The result is a professional, brand-aligned website with a clear and direct path to charter booking — replacing instability and confusion with a polished, trustworthy digital experience that reflects the standard Next Charter’s clients expect.
A great website doesn’t just look good — it loads fast, ranks well, and stays out of your way. When all of that comes together, you stop worrying about your tech and start focusing on what actually grows your business. This project demonstrates that even a heavily compromised site can be turned into a performing platform with the right strategy and execution.
