BeBlue is an Italian tour operator and yacht broker specialising in sailing holidays worldwide. Based in Mirano, near Venice, they personally vet every boat, skipper, and route in their portfolio — covering destinations from the Mediterranean and Croatia to the Caribbean, Seychelles, and Southeast Asia.

BeBlue Sailing needed a complete website overhaul to scale their business and attract new customers. Their outdated platform had fragmented content scattered across multiple domains with confusing redirects, constant technical failures, and visual inconsistency that failed to reflect their young, energetic team culture. All existing content had to be preserved for SEO reasons, and the new design had to be intuitive for their senior demographic clients while pursuing younger customers.
The Challenge
We identified the core challenge — BeBlue’s authentic team culture was completely absent from their digital presence. We proposed a design strategy that was both professional and energetic. We designed 76 layout variations for 40 pages and coded 40 static pages using semantic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Our engagement expanded to include redesigns of the admin dashboard, user portal, checkout system, digital brochures, and newsletter templates.
The new website successfully captured BeBlue’s company culture while maintaining accessibility for their diverse audience. We simplified the booking path, preserved their SEO structure while improving user experience, and applied consistent brand identity across all digital touchpoints. We transferred knowledge of our Helix framework to their IT agency, empowering them to maintain and evolve the platform independently.
The Result
The result was a cohesive digital brand experience that proved energetic design and senior-friendly interfaces are not mutually exclusive. The website now scales to support business growth, provides clear navigation for tour and charter bookings, and authentically reflects who BeBlue is as a company.
