Before and After Case

Brand Problems
- Broken visual digital presence
- No unified visual system
- Poor navigation and booking path
- Performance issues
- Fragmented user experience
Our Solutions
- Full design rebuild
- Cohesive brand system
- Wide-layout architecture
- Performance optimisation
- Unified account interface
Dagen Yachtcharter‘s IT agency came to us in need of a complete website rebuild. The existing site had been designed by a logo designer with no web design experience, resulting in a broken, dysfunctional design that failed to represent a company of their standing and undermined the user’s path to booking.
We worked in close collaboration with the client throughout the entire process. Dagen Yachtcharter came with a clear vision: a wide, expansive layout that would maximise content exposure without sacrificing structural integrity, ease of navigation, and the clarity of the booking journey.
Approach
Our approach began with three foundational page designs — the homepage, the boat listing page, and the boat detail page — from which the full site architecture was systematically expanded. The boat detail page required several review cycles to achieve the right content organisation, balancing the client’s widget requirements against page performance and usability. Redundant functionalities that were degrading load times were identified and removed.
Beyond the public-facing interface, we also redesigned the user account area, ensuring the entire system — from first visit to post-booking — feels cohesive and intentional. Logo elements were refined and the brand’s colour palette was applied consistently across all pages, turning the website into a single, unified visual system.
The Result
The result was a complete frontend delivery of 42 static pages built in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, handed off to Dagen Yachtcharter’s IT agency for implementation — a fully resolved, performance-conscious website that reflects the quality and professionalism the company has embodied since 1993.
A great website doesn’t just look good — it loads fast, ranks well, and stays out of your way. When all of that comes together, you stop worrying about your tech and start focusing on what actually grows your business. This project demonstrates that even a heavily compromised site can be turned into a performing platform with the right strategy and execution.
